Been very very busy these few weeks... quite obvious cos no time to blog the many many things i wanted to blog..... haiz.... so sad...

BEST part is i dunno what i have been busy with.... jus feel that i have been doing one thing after another... and very sadly.. most are jus work... I was actually quite grateful abt the national day break.. but... times really fly.. cos it was gone in a flash and i did not do work... cos tot shld give myself a break.. but now really regret it sia.. haiz....

Too Busy for a Friend..... a touching story to share....

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down. It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.

That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual.

On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. 'Really?' she heard whispered. 'I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!' and, 'I didn't know others liked me so much,' were most of the comments.

No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.

Several years later, one of the students was killed in VietNam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature.

The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin.

As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. 'Were you Mark's math teacher?' he asked. She nodded: 'yes.' Then he said: 'Mark talked about you a lot.'

After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher.

'We want to show you something,' his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket 'They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.'

Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him.

'Thank you so much for doing that,' Mark's mother said. 'As you can see, Mark treasured it.'
All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, 'I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home.'

Chuck's wife said, 'Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album.' 'I have mine too,' Marilyn said. 'It's in my diary'

Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. 'I carry this with me at all times,' Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: 'I think we all saved our lists'

That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again.

The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be.

So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and important. Tell them, before it is too late.

终于看完了《败犬女王》大结局。。。对单无双最后说的这句话。。颇有感触。。

《凤穿牡丹》。。

《凤穿牡丹》。。一部属于我难得看的戏剧类型。。。。严格说起来。。还是我妈妈先开始迷上的一部戏剧。。。因为SCV的关系，她最近看的戏是越来越多了。。。有些我从来没看过的戏。。她竟然比我还清楚。。。哈哈。。。世界真的变了。。

我是最近才开始看这部剧。。真得不错。。看了也有不少感触。。也不得不佩服戏里的女主角“郁无暇”- 一个非常有主见及知道自己要什么的女人。。。在那个年代真是难的一见。。。虽然频频遇上挫折，便对现实的残酷，她从不低头。。。看到她，虽然知道。。这只不过是一出戏。。也已让我不禁觉得惭愧。。

戏已接近尾声。。。不知结局会如何。。但是她今天所的两句话。。。让我印象深刻。。

郁无暇：“爱是一种权利，而被爱也是一种幸福。”

这是否就和我们现在常听到的。。“你可以不爱我。。但是你不能阻止我喜欢你。。” 的道理是一样的呢？。。但是如果爱上不对的人。。那。。若是要坚持这种权利，被爱的那一位是否真的会觉得幸福呢? 这样的坚持是否就应该放弃呢？

《天冷就回来》。。棒！！

finally managed to catch the last run of this drama.... also din noe wat i was thinking when i booked the tickets for the last run.. haha... think i was probably thinking there would be some grand finale or something.. haha... anyway.. the other thing i din understand was.. why did i book the first row?? now my neck is aching... haha..

the ticket stub.... look at my seat number.. haha... i muz be crazy... cos my neck is getting a bit stiff now.... haha...

but i was glad i went for this drama still.. did not disappoint me.. cos at first i tot this drama is again abt some love triangle but i was very wrong.. haha... was rather surprised at the twist in the story.... very interesting..... and i think this show is really abt appreciating yourself as a person... learning to recognise where your talents are and of cos.. appreciating and loving the pple around you....

and tho my orginal motive was to jus go and support 石欣卉。。。haha.. cos i super loved her voice... very powerful.. but i was pleasantly surprised cos the male lead 田伟鸿 and the female lead 董姿彦 also sang very well... i ended up buying the OST.. haha... supposed to buy outside.. cos it's cheaper but ... they have a post-autograph session after the show.. so i tot might as well..

《一切完美2》。。又告一段落了。。。haiz... one of the rare local dramas i almost followed every episode with anticipation... why so short?? only 13 epis haiz.... anyway.. these are the few quotes i got from the last few epis... hope i din miss out any.... really wanted to get my laptop on standby during the show... haha....

Watched 石欣卉《無能爲力》MV on Monday.... 看了真的有无能为力的感觉。。。。really felt as if my heart is breaking inside.... her song coupled with the MV = 那种无法形容的心痛。。。

originally i din have a deep impression of the song when I listened to her latest CD.... was actually attracted to few other songs.... but overall I was really impressed by our local superstar runner-up....石欣卉... not only has she improved a lot and also became very very pretty...:) she even wrote the lyrics for all the songs in her album... super cool.... to be a lyricist who can touch pple's hearts is also one far-fetched aspirations of mine... haha...

Specially went to check out the lyrics after looking at the MV... I'm super touched by the lyrics ... the 诗意。。意境。。。fantastic... specially like the few lines i bolded.. .. ..enjoy the song, the lyrics, the MV and the storyline (tho it's the typical kind.. but one nvr get sick of it...)... hope you wun feel so heartbroken....

Caught the recent episodes of 《篮球火》 on TV recently... i have always had a certain affinity with basketball... tho i'm not really someone who can play the game well.. cos i'm rather scared of being hit... haha... but i really love watching pple play the game... be it live, in dramas, movies or even animations... think this really started during my secondary sch days...

as such i was also stuck to the show when my sis started to watch it... haha.. but other than the competitions in the show... i was also attracted to its 片尾曲, 《幸福不灭》 by the male lead 罗志祥, who played the joker in the show... reminding me of 樱木花道 in the Jap animation - one of the rare Jap animae I actually followed thru-out....... haha...

《生活与生存》舞台剧

went to watch 《生活与生存》舞台剧 @ the Esplanade Theatre on Friday nite.... think it's the longest LIVE performance I have seen so far... 8pm to abt 12 mid-nite (due to a few technical disruptions) .. can u believe it??

but i tot the show was really not bad cos it talked abt a lot of issues.. related to office politics.... which is very very true in the world of today... not just the private sector.... but also in the public sector... .... & i tot the performers were all very good.... esp the lead characters, 张艾嘉, 郑元畅 and 王耀庆。。one of the other actresses who played the character of "苏菲” was very good too... i'm really quite impressed... cos i always feel that acting in a live drama certainly demands more of the performers as compared to those in tv dramas or movies cos there's NO NG allowed.......

haha.. anyway the first scene oredi made me wonder... haha.. the title of the first scene is "Why should we work??" haha... so u shld noe why i wonder le bah... haha... cos i tot 张艾嘉 made an interesting ironic use of the male lead character's name... “李想”。。。shld originally be “理想”.... and in the end... the story arranged the male lead to die.. does it mean also “理想的死亡”?? so does it mean... to survive in the working world... 理想就必须死亡呢？？ this is really something which really 发人深省。。。

and for this performance... there were a few interesting things worth mentioning...

my sis treated me to this show.. cos she wanted company to watch this show or rather see her idol 郑元畅。。haha... and think she really got her money worth... cos we were seated in the 2nd row from the stage... so she could really see her idol close and clear... haha... she was ELATED.... haha... but i muz say 郑元畅's complexion is really VERY good for a guy.... and he is very very tall... haha...

as we were seated in the 2nd row... i almost sprained my neck cos we had to tilt our heads slightly upwards to look at wat's going on on the stage...

the show was supposed to be slightly over 3 hours.. with a post-mortem of the drama (which din happened in the end... my sis was super pissed cos that was the main reason she bought the tickets for friday instead of sat...) but the show took abt 4 hours to complete due to a few technical errors which caused the performance to be disrupted for 2 times..... as such esplanade actually treated all audience to drinks at the bar... probably to compensate for the hiccups...... but all 郑元畅's fans, including my sis were certainly not pleased.....

Time for the song of the week... my sis bought 梁靜茹's latest album last week... weird rite... i wasn't the one who bought it.. haha... cos remember she gave me 最后通牒。。i'm not supposed to buy any more CDs for the next 3 months... haha...

but since she bought it.. of cos i will have the chance to listen to it... & i was pleasantly surprised as this latest album by 靜茹 is really not bad... cos I din really like her last album... but i tot this album was really quite nice..

in particular... i SUPER LIKE the song 《沒有如果》... the theme song of 《敗犬女王》.. the new 偶像剧。。starring 阮经天。。a show abt a woman in her 30s.... falling in love with this guy who is much younger than her.... a typical 姐弟恋... haha.. apparently the term 敗犬 is used to describe women who are above 30 and not married yet... so think i would catch the drama soon.. and maybe i will like the song even more after i watch the show... haha...

anyway.. was also thinking that it is a coincident cos my fav 棟樑's song is 《如果》... seems like i really dun believe in 如果.. cos both the song lyrics are similar... and they are both abt 沒有如果.... :)

The other top fav on my playlist by 梁文音, the one whom I have been posting clips on when she took part in 超级星光大道II... the lyrics of this song【最幸福的事】is very simple but yet very meaningful.... altho it seem like a typical love song... i think the lyrics can also signify other kind of relationships...such as family ties and friendship.....and also I esp like the introduction of this song... currently trying to figure out the chords... haha....

and interestingly the MV was also filmed by the same director who filmed《猜不透》... but this time round... I managed to understand the meaning behind the MV... very subtle...but very touching.... Hope u like this recommendation...:)

五月天新歌飚唱会。。超 HIGH!!!!

supposed to post this the day after the concert on 4/1/09.. the first Sunday of 2009... haha.. but of cos.... been super busy...

anyway... tot I better jus blog abt it now .. if not u all were never see it exist.. haha...

the whole story began with me actually going to queue to exchg for the FREE concert tickets on 28/12/08 (last Sunday of 2008) with the coupons I got from their CDs I bought... actually bought 2 so I can get 2 tickets... one for myself and one for my sis...

the ticket exchg venue @ Central... u wun be able to believe it... we were even 2 hours earlier... and in front of us.....were probably about 1000+ pple le.... haha.... really really crazy.....

this was the scene in front of where I was standing....

this was the scene behind me... think the queue actually went round the whole building once... haha.....

Keeping my fingers crossed while queuing cos apparently the tickets were on first come first served basis..... and look at the crowd.... we were thinking we might not even get them after the LONG LONG WAIT..... haiz... but Finally finally... haha... YEAH!!! I got the tickets after queuing for close to 3 hours... haha.... okie... the first step to the concert... completed....

On the day of the concert.... it rained.... so at first tot the concert would be cancelled... haha.. cos it's a STANDING concert... first time ever.. it stated on the tickets..."Free Standing"... haha... but the rain stopped abt 4.. we went @ 6.30pm... concert supposed to start at 8pm... haha... but apparently many pple had decided to be earlier.... and this was what we saw when we reached.....

A massive queue.... AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & we were actually more than 1 hour earlier.....OMG!!!! haha.... 五月天的魅力真的不容忽视。。。哈哈。。。we were probably the most slack-looking audience around cos we went with the mindset that since the concert was FREE... it probably wun be very long and not going to be like the usual paid concerts... we were even thinking of leaving earlier if the concert does not meet the minimum expectations... haha.. cos we weren't great fans of 五月天 to begin with... haha... but of cos this did not happen cos 五月天 was simply FABULOUS... haha... their concert was actually a full-length one....2.5 hours... & super HIGH one... despite the fact that it was FREE.. of cos minus the cost of the CD.... haha... I can only say that 五月天 really very 有诚意回馈歌迷。。。超有心的。。。if not for the 11pm curfew... I bet they would continue singing cos the whole atmosphere was super HIGH.. haha...

the entrance to the concert venue.... after which my frens went to chop a place with a good view... haha.. of cos.. I jus followed blindly cos I never went for such concerts before... the only ones I have been to were 棟樑 From Now on concert & FIR concert... haha... got seats and air-con one...

Look at all the fans waiting eagerly in the evening sunset.... romantic?? haha...

五月天 in action.. this is the clearest shot of the stage with 阿信，怪兽，石头 & 玛莎。。I found among the many photos ... 冠佑 was not around as his father-in-law passed away... here's my deepest condolesences to his family....

Back to the concert highlights... I was deeply impressed by 阿信... he actually sang thru the full 2.5 hours.. LIVE... how much stamina can you imagine he needed to have... COOL... & he and the rest of the members also really noe how to 搞气氛。。the concert was REAL REAL HIGH... haha... no wonder 五月天 is known as 天团... they really 当之无愧。。

the closest & clearest pics of 阿信... when he walked over the the wing nearest to where we were standing.... he's the lead singer so more of his pics.. haha...

next.. I muz mention 怪兽... wah.. I was certainly mesmerised by his guitar skills... he is so cool when he tried to play the guitar hanging over his head... haha.. I always wanted to learn the guitar...but never got to it... so I was certainly impressed... think you wun believe it...I actually went to ask my keyboard teacher if she can teach me guitar after the concert... haha... but she gave me a "lecture" and asked me to focus on my keyboard and vocal.. haha.... so that would probably have to wait for the time being....

din managed to take pics of the other 2 cos they din really walked over to our side.. but I managed to take pics of their special guest...丁当。。。was actually waiting for the duet she sang with 阿信 b4 but.. a bit disappointed that she did not sing that.. but I was certainly impressed by her voice... powerful... probably the best word to describe it... 听现场的真的不一样。。。:) my current fav song is her song.. 《猜不透》... esp loved the last 2 lines... will be posting her mv soon... hehe..

the ad for their upcoming concert... haha.. of cos the 3 of us simply din get enough of 五月天。。。& we bought the tickets le.. muahahaha... of cos... I forgot again that I'm broke.. so I will have to eat grass for 2 more mths le... haha....

the 荧光 bracelets that we wore during the concert... very very nice... haha..

my final takeaways from the concert... haha.. the ticket stud and a fan... haha.. but of cos not jus these.. cos during the concert, I also had a chance to take a closer look at the lyrics of 五月天's songs... I realised that their songs really deserved a closer look.. esp the lyrics.. many are very very well written and close to the heart.... so do go take a look, k...:)

Went for a couple of dinner gatherings last week... It's really a week of dinners... and of cos all due to a reason... bdays... haha... muz be an auspicious week... at the same time got the chance to take a look at all the Xmas lightings... Xmas is coming!!!

was very lucky to bump into Yuming and 美珍 @ Bugis Junction yesterday... haha.. at first tot I saw wrongly... haha... so i took another look.. haha... ya.. indeed it was them... all geared up in their 打歌服。。。really look quite cool... apparently i was really tempted to ask if i could take a pic with them.. but haha.. really paisei...hehe... cos they are surrounded by the working crew.. so haha.. no chance to do that... but it's really interesting to see all the turning heads when pple walked past them... esp those who know them.. hehe... cool...

S.H.E - 这三个不做作的女生出第十一张专辑了。。。 I have always liked their songs... so this time muz show my support as usual... haha.... the group actually started an online radio station in line with the name of the album... S.H.E My FM... haha... muz go see if can find not... apparently they are quite good as DJs too...

anyway.. one of the songs that i super like in the album is 《安静了》。。一首改编自周杰伦一首我也很喜欢的歌。。。《安静》。。the two songs have similar melodies...and Jay Chou has kindly rearranged his original song for S.H.E... haha... Selina has a part in the writing of the lyrics for the song... and she also acted in the MV as the lead with 阮经天。。。the guy who is now super 红。。cos of the show 《命中注定我爱你》.. also lyds' new love... haha.... the MV has quite a sad story line.... a bit like a mini 偶像剧... quite nicely taken too...

“一年就等着一张。。。” this is exactly wat the TV and radio ads said abt Jay Chou's latest album... 《魔杰座》。。。& this is also the one of the few Jay Chou's albums that I actually bought... (think the first one I got was the OST of 《不能说的秘密》。。。haha... never really noe how to appreciate his singing previously... but I muz admit he is very talented...

无敌 has lost everything from what he used to have and now all are waiting for 无敌 to get back on his feet and gain back what he has lost to all the despicable characters in the show....hehe... & the love between 无敌 & 珊寶 has also blossomed as the show moved on.. :)

021108 The New Paper Big Walk...

Woke up super early last Sunday morning to go for the New Paper Big Walk 2008... went for a few years when it first started... but also stopped for quite some years cos of some reasons...

This year they revived the Big Walk which was placed on hold for a couple of years.. and made some changes... it used to be a 10km walk... this year... it was cut down to 5km (tho I strongly felt it was longer than 5km... haha) and we walked to the newly opened Marina Baraage... quite cool actually cos this year... my mum and aunt (the mastermind of this whole thing....she actually managed to cut so many coupons to register all of us... i really muz say 佩服。。哈哈。。。） also went to walk.....

A very very cute Persian cat has been loitering in my neighbourhood recently... since last week... it seems to have been abandoned by its owner.... 看了让人心痛。。。if not for fear my mum will get angry... I would very much like to bring it back home cos I think it certainly wun be able to fend for itself long.... given its breed and background.... and it looked a bit sick and old too.. probably tat's the main reason it was abandoned....

But WHY??? This is really One thing I really dun understand... how can one be so heartless??? esp when it's a pet which probably had accompanied you through many happy and sad days.... 就算是一个没有生命的物品，在你身边久了，你也会舍不得吧。。何况这是一只活生生的波斯猫。。为何如此狠心？？人性真的很难以捉摸。。。也实在可怕。。

finally managed to grab a copy of the soundtrack.... apparently it was out in TW on 060908.. now then got it... haiz.. but very HAPPY cos it's autographed by 棟樑... hehe....:)

anyway.. here to recommend the 2 songs sung by him in the soundtrack.... the other songs also not bad... will recommend them some other time.... haha.. 棟樑's songs more impt... hehe...

The main theme of the show.... a re-arranged version of the oldie 《情花开》... which is also the song which 棟樑 had to dance the dance which he would never do if he's not 孙无敌。。。haha....but he's super 帅in this MV... tho he din dance that dance....haha...

Yeah.... finally.... the show i've been waiting for...《无敌珊宝妹》 Ep 1......is online le.... right after 《命中注定我爱你》 the show tat has received super high ratings recently.....

haha.. as mentioned before... my super idol... 棟樑 is the male lead actor of 《无敌珊宝妹》... that's why 干妹, Lyds and I had been anticipating the show for a long long long time... haha.... tho think 棟樑 was super stressed before Ep 1 was aired... but he think too much... haha... cos the show is very well-received.. think he can relax le... haha...

anyway.. I din get to catch the show on that Monday itself cos I was busy with the lesson package... really need to fight all temptations to prevent myself from watching the show on youku.... haha.. and I succeeded cos I only watched it few days later on the Thursday nite... very 乖... haha...

Happily counting down to 棟樑's new drama... really seems like nothing seems to interest me anymore other than 棟樑's news... haha....

currently watching this drama series "命中注定我爱你".. which has created a big craze in Taiwan.... now i understand why.... haha.. cos it's a twisted Cinderalla story... haha... pple all like to watch fairy tales... esp ME... haha... hoping one day I will also be the princess of my own fairy tale.... tho I seriously doubt the existence of fairy tales in real life.... haha....

and I couldn't stop once I started to watch the show on youtube..... some parts very touching and sad.. esp the accident part where 陈欣怡 had a miscarriage... i cried like mad....haha...

was discussing abt the scenario with my frens the other day... and I learnt few things....

muz see things from different perspective....
the scriptwriters are very good in steering audience's mindset towards what they want us to feel.... like audience will usually stand on the side of the main casts.. and hope that everything will go well for them....

Interesting.... but seriously if I were 安娜 in the show.. I would have just given up and 祝福 them... what's the point of holding on to someone who has changed? and still had to go to such drastic measures to keep him with me.... but really it's always a situation of 当局者迷，旁观者清... maybe I wun say that if I'm really in that kind of situation... haha....

Would recommend this show to anyone who likes fairy tales like me... think you would sure like the show.... but muz have time... cos if not like me... stuck at epi 15.....cos i noe if i continue watching.... i'll be dead meat cos I dun need to do work le.... struggling with my self-discipline now... haha....

This is my favourite song currently.... been playing it over and over again on itunes... haha....heard this song when I was looking at 棟樑's 第三代 movie DVD... only then did I realise he sang this song for the movie.... this song is a rearrangement from the song 我只在乎你 by Teresa Teng.. a song which I also like alot.... but certainly more so.. after I heard 棟樑's version... haha.. esp the part when the rearranger changed the lyrics.. super NICE..... :)

The Power of Olympics....

think many pple are now waiting for the table tennis finals tonight.... ME too.. haha... was totally thrilled when the Singapore team won the semi-finals on Friday... haha...

was actually attending lessons ... when the match was being played... haha... forgot abt it actually but when I went over to the staff cafe to get my coffee... I realised that many pple were actually watching the match there... haha... they dun need to work meh??

but as I needed to go back for my class, but when I went back... I login to the official website and my whole group ended up fixing our eyes on the laptop screen where we waited anxiously for the results to refresh every 15 sec... even tho we can't watch the show live on the internet... haha..

It was really a tough fight... which made everyone in my group stressed.... haha... so immediately when lessons ended.. a few of us went over to the staff cafe and we sat down and watched the 4th game... together with the many staff who were still there... haha... but sad to say tho our Singapore player put up a good fight... we still lost that match...

So I left to pick my sis ... cos she wanted to go buy hammy food from PS... interestingly we started to discuss the match.... and when we reached PS... we went to Best Denki straight away to watched the crucial last match played by our youngest player, Feng Tian Wei.... haha.. as we walked to the TV section of the shop... there were already pple gathered there with the same motive... haha.. and as we watched and cheered for the Singapore team... more and more pple gathered to watch.... and Feng Tian Wei 不负众望 and she won the game for the team and YEAH!!... Singapore is now guaranteed at least a SILVER medal after our first in an history of 48 YEARS.....haha... Well-done! Singapore Team.....

But think the sad thing was that the whole crowd in Best Denki dispersed once the match was over... think the staff there muz be quite pissed... haha....

Seriously... I thought it's really interesting how The Power of Olympics can make pple who dunno each other to come together and cheer for the same purpose... haha....think many Singaporeans will also have their eyes fixed on the live telecast this evening too..... All the BEST!!! Singapore Team......がんばってね。。。

FIR Concert 080808... SUPER DUPER HIGH....

Finally went for the FIR concert yesterday... super high de...... haha... altho I tot Faye din sing very well yesterday... think maybe too tired or stressed.....but the overall atmosphere of the whole concert was super high.... cos the band was very good.. 建宁老师 and 阿沁 played very well.. but tot 阿沁 should have sung more songs so that Faye can rest... cos she practically had to sing thru the whole concert... Faye, Well done!!

萧敬腾 was the special guest ... haha... as expected.. he din say much... and just sang 2 songs... voice certainly power but really nid to mention his funny outfit... light purple printed t-shirt with dark purple pants and guess wat... golden boots... haha... I almost faint.. dunno if it's prepared by the 造型师 ....haha

the gals in the first row were cheering non-stop... haha... then when the whole concert atmosphere went super high... I also went crazy with them... jumping, singing and dancing...SUPER HIGH.... haha... apparently my fren sae tat I blended in with them... others would have tot I came together with the gals... haha...

I also tried to take some pics ... but really difficult to take clear pics under that lighting.... here's some photos I have taken... share with you all... not pro tho...haha...

Missed 《新光大道》 on Thursday on SCV cos went out for dinner..as it was quite late when I reached home... I decided to watch 《新光大道》 on youtube... how can miss my weekly routine?? haha... but i fell asleep... super tired... so yesterday morning when I woke up... I was lucky enough cos SCV was showing it again... actually I tot the main highlight of the show would be the part where 梁文音 sang with 张宇。。。cos it was highlighted during the sneak previews before the show.. but interestingly... I was wrong... cos I was instead drawn by the part where Yuming sang with 萧煌奇.... previously I only know tat 萧煌奇 was someone who is like our local 陈维廉。。。with a sight handicap... and I never really hear him sing before other than the time when i saw his mtv at ktv... but i din really think much of tat then....

But after watching the duet by 萧煌奇 and Yuming... my tears rolled down unconsciously... dunno why... it's really a sense of 莫名的感动。。then when 萧煌奇 sang his 成名曲。。《你是我的眼》... i started to cry uncontrollably... dunno why... maybe I was super touched by the lyrics and his way of expressing his tots in the song... and maybe it has just been a trigger to release all my suppressed emotions...

anyway.. want to share these 2 clips and songs with you all... btw... 陶子姐 also said something that set me thinking after 萧煌奇 sang the song.... she said...."我们看到的或许比萧煌奇老师更多，但是我们感受到的比他少太多了。。”True, isn't it?? we might have our sight but has we really made good use of them?? i'm certainly guilty of that....

YEAH!!!... in the 2008 MTV Asia Awards held yesterday, 棟樑 was awarded the Favourite Artist of Malaysia 2008.... aka 《2008 MTV亞洲大獎》“大馬最受歡迎歌手”獎..... He is the first Malaysian-Chinese singer who has ever won this title in Malaysia.... haha.... so muz really cheer for him.....

Was looking at the latest posts abt 棟樑's new drama series at the forum yesterday.... Was rather upset after reading them... cos think the way the reports were made were really a bit too much.... no wonder 棟樑's stress level is increasing... He was already very stressed abt the new show... cos he's acting as someone who is totally NOT him in terms of behaviour and personality this time round... but he's putting in a lot of efforts and hard work.... no wonder they say 人言可畏。。。 but I also believe 谣言止于智者... his hard work will eventually be seen by ALL...

Would like to tell 棟樑 the following altho he might not ever see this at all...

别人的意见真的不是那么重要的。。。。只要你自己开心和觉得对得起自己就够了。。何必在乎别人怎么想呢？你的努力我们是看得见的。。

So don't be disheartened or stressed cos your fans are always behind you...

星光大道II - 不淘汰的比赛。。。

haha... it was the day of the week again when I watched 星光大道II... was quite touched when 曾沛慈, one of my favourite contestants in the 2nd season sang my favourite hokkien song of all times.... the same one i mentioned in one of the previous entries...

altho she might not have sung as well as the original singer who is the super diva in hokkien songs... she certainly have tried her best... :) This is her version.... :) enjoy....

the other contestant worth mentioning is 林宜融, Annie.. aka hello kitty... she is one who is constantly improving.... from a very classic background, she constantly tries her best to show the audience her different faces.... a very good example to many... as long as you put your heart to what you want to do.. YOU WILL & YOU CAN.... take a look at how she challenges herself to Avril Lavigne's "Complicated", something totally not her style.....

But the highlight of this episode is probably the fact that the judges scolded the contestants for taking the competition too lightly....think it's really important to be reflective no matter what you are doing or working as... dun take things for granted....

A Perfect Cut... 一切完美 ... Last episode

Just finished watching the last episode of the show I highly recommended few days ago.... ok... it's a 大团圆结局。。。at least I'm not disappointed... the scriptwriter skilfully linked the 2 main casts together with a lift breakdown... tho they were in 2 diff lifts... but those who watched shld still remember that in one of the episode... the 2 main casts chose the lift as the answer to a 心理测验... so i tot the link was quite cool... haha...

what left me thinking was wat Alex Tan (the main cast) said at the end..."如果你可以包容着世上的不完美，那这世界将会是完美的。。。" ... i.e. "If one can tolerate all the imperfections in the world, then everything will become perfect..."

hmmm... true to a certain extent....what do u all think??

Yeah!!!... My super idol... 棟樑's concert DVD is out!!!... managed to get a copy @ Sembawang Music @ PS today... haha.. it was still in the box when I went to the shop... was feeling disappointed when I din see it on the racks... then the shop supervisor came to ask me if I needed help... So I asked if the DVD is here le.... and tada..... here it is...

so u shld noe what the shop supervisor's answer was.... haha........ the only pity was there are no free posters/ postcards this time round with the DVD....... but I also managed to find his first album for my 干妹。。。 haha... however one bad thing was that I ended up burning a big hole in my pocket again... cos I bought a number of other cds too.... haha...

But it's ok.. cos when I went down to the Carrefour... I saw these on display...... so they do sell the "Zheng" green tea in Singapore... haha... and there are 2 more versions with 棟樑's photos on the labels.... more than what I found in Malacca... haha... so u shld be able to guess what I have done huh??? hahaha.... u can find these in my hse fridge now..... :D

Anyway.. to all 棟樑's fans out there... quick go grab a copy of his DVD NOW.... :D ok... i shall go enjoy watching the DVD now....:)

星光大道- 资格决定争夺赛。。。梁文音的努力和压力。。。

Just finished watching the 星光大道- 资格决定争夺赛 where the few contestants who had been knocked out were back to fight for a chance to get back to the competition.... altho i super no mood today... but i still watched it on SCV.. cos i have been waiting for it for a week...

I was glad I did... cos one of the contestants 梁文音..... she let me or rather the audience see her 努力和压力 and somehow... i feel for her... maybe it's 感同身受。。。cos i can somewat link the pressure on her as a very 有实力的 contestant to the pressure i have been facing all this while......

this time round... she has re-evaluated herself and made a comeback... The song she chose shld be abt a mother hoping to see her child come back one day... i think... not very sure...i made the guess from watever I understood cos it's a hokkien song.... maybe someone out there can give me a better explanation? ha... anyway... enjoy the song....

Seriously speaking... I have long since lost interest in local drama series for quite some time... (esp after my sis subscribed to SCV....haha...)

but recently this local series really caught my eyes... the first surprising thing was that my sis was the one who first started watching it.... the next surprising thing was that this series actually have good content (abt different aspects of cosmetic surgery, psychiatry and most imptly life...) and I seriously think the script writers muz have put a lot of tots to the whole story outline... esp when a different set of values would be conveyed in every single episode..... what the cast said would also put pple to thought.... as it would make one think from a very different perspective...

for eg... in the episode i just watched... the main cast said "Does the opinions of others really matter? As long as you are happy.... why bother abt what others think?" True.... isn't it?

I was actually quite sad when I noe that there's only 2 more episodes left... this is one show I would really recommend to pple... so if you haven't watched it... hurry... 2 more days left... channel U 10 -11pm...... try to catch it.... btw.. got 俊男美女 in the show too... Thomas Ong is the main lead... haha...

The final surprising thing abt the show was the opening and closing theme songs of the show... Super good... muz listen to them... esp the opening theme song... the lyrics are very very very well-written.... touched my heart....seemed like i'm easily touched by song lyrics... haha...

these 2 songs are sung by our local superstar runner-up... 石欣卉... someone whom I really feel got potential when she first joined the competition a few years ago.... somehow i feel that she might be writing abt her own story in the theme song... (cool rite... she actually wrote the song herself...) do take some time to listen to the songs and look at the lyrics... I'm still trying to find the lyrics for the closing theme song.... meanwhile.. enjoy wat I have found...

It certainly din help that I only slept 2.5 hours last night... supposed to be sleeping early today... caught a short nap just now.. but need to clear some work by tonight...

had quite a bad day......esp...the afternoon was not too good... had a slip (due to the heavy rain...) and fell on the stairs when i'm rushing to my keyboard teacher's hse... landed with a loud thud on my bum.... haiz.... now still hurting... but think i shld be glad i did not land on my spine or hit my head huh....luckily i managed to catch hold of the railings...

tot will see a parcel when i come home... but to my greatest disappoint... still not here....really waiting anxiously for my 2nd parcel of JOY from yesasia... which seems to be taking a bit long.... & my super idol's concert DVD which is scheduled to be launched this coming Thursday.... hehe......

Just watched the last PK episode of 星光大道。。。very touched by this song "火柴天堂" sung by this contestant I quite like in the 2nd season.. Tot this girl is quite cool and can sing very well... She's 曾沛慈。。。 She's the first one to leave a deep impression in me when I first started to follow the 2nd season which I din really did from the start...

So would like to share this with you all.. tot she has sung really well for this song & the way she interpreted and sang the song 感动到我了。。。esp when the lyrics of this song are originally already very well-written... hope it can 感动 you all too.... :)

The Parcel of "Joy"

Haha... super happy when I reached home just now... cos I saw a big envelope on my bag... & my happiness was affirmed when I saw the address of the sender.... CD connection... the limited edition of 棟樑's first album is finally here... after abt 10 days... haha...

This is the first time I bought something online... & after I heard the song "Dream" on my 干妹妹's blog.. I realised I din know that 棟樑 actually has a limited edition of his first album...which collected 2 songs which all my albums dun have.. so I went for a hunt for this CD in some of the CD shops in Singapore... but to no avail.. so I went online to YesAsia.. where my fren got all her korean cds from... and to my great disappointment.. YesAsia has no more stock of this CD anymore and apparently it's long out of print.....

The album that I spent so much time finding...... haha

But stubborn me refused to give up... and decided to just key in the title of the CD on google... and to my delightment... it linked me to CD connection where I managed to find the ONE copy left in USA (i think)... muahahahaha... but I was still worried when I ordered and paid for the CD online... cos I'm afraid it might just be a scam.... a few days ago... a bank personnel even called me to check if I ordered something from CD connection using my card.. I became even more worried... haha... but here it is... so now I'm happily listening to it... haha... though a bit ex for a CD but for my idol...it's certainly worth it!!! Thank u, CD connection....

Watched 星光大道 2nd season on SCV a few days ago... it happened to be a PK session where some external competitors come to challenge the top few contestants of the show... There is this very good contestant, named Alisa.. I don't deny the fact that she can sing very well... but I just felt that the contestants who were knocked out by her were also very good... it's really a pity...

anyway... just want to share this clip with u all... this is sung by the contestant who was knocked out by Alisa this time round... she's 魏如昀... this song is named "If I could" is her own composition and I was really touched by the lyrics when I listened to it... I think it's very very well written...and I truly hope to see more of her wonderful works in the future...Do hope that u all will like the song too...:)

finally watched the show 200 Pound Beauty after so long... a bit stale le but now i finally noe why many pple say i would like the show.... haha.... really the type of movie i would go for... hehe....

but it also makes me wonder how much a woman can sacrifice for the one she loves..... to have the courage to go under the knife to be the perfect one for him.... i dun think i would be able to do so... haha... who knows... 所谓旁观者清，当局者迷.... will think abt it when the situation arises....

这个十二月不知为何我周围的朋友似乎都心事重重的，也许是我想太多，但这都已足够让我不知所措了。所以我看我今年的圣诞愿望就是让这愁云密布的十二月赶快过去，希望我身边的人都可以像之前一样开开心心的就好了。

但是人总是矛盾的，一方面我希望十二月赶快过去，我一想到那也代表着假期即将过去，我就不知如何是好了。。。

不过我相信只要我周围的人都能重展笑颜，一切还是值得的。
